Bartosz Wawrzynów is a senior researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the biotech industry. Presently, he is a Tech Transfer Coordinator at the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) and a Portfolio Manager at FNP Ventures, an investment vehicle of which the principal and sole shareholder is FNP. FNP Ventures operates in a Fund of Funds (FoF) capacity. Currently FNP Ventures is an active Limited Partner in four Venture Capital (VC) funds encompassing over sixty companies in portfolio support. At the same time FNP Ventures aims provide technological scouting and due diligence support in the deal flow pipelines of said VCs.

In parallel Bartosz is a Scientific Consultant at Caspar Asset Management, an agile, lean Hedge Fund. Within Caspar, Bartosz is directly involved in scientific due diligence of Life Science / Biotech/ Medtech – NASDAQ listed companies representing innovative segments, such as: I-O, bi-specifics, CAR-Ts, gene editing. He oversees the portfolio in terms of their R&D pipeline, core science output, FDA Clinical Trial(s) progress, IP portfolio / freedom to operate & partnerships.

He is a keen networking builder with the intent of establishing bridges that hold and strengthen knowledge exchange frameworks. An advocate of the notion that start-ups should be perceived as temporary organizations designed to search for a repeatable and scalable business model.
